First Timer Survival Guide

Welcome to World of Concrete 2026. As a first-time attendee of our event, we want to offer you some tips for planning your visit to WOC 2026 & Las Vegas; before, during, and after the event.

Tips for Before WOC 2026

Even before you step foot onto the show floor, there are some vital trade show tips to consider that will make your visit fun and productive.

You Must Register Online Before the Show — Registering in advance has many benefits: early-bird pricing by 12/12/25, securing your spot, avoiding long onsite lines, and giving you peace of mind. If you are attending with your company or organization, it also ensures everyone will be able to attend. Your booth confirmation will have a QR code that you will scan onsite at one of the many badge pick-up counters to print your physical badge. There is no onsite registration; however, if you have a change to make to your credentials or want to add an educational session, there are Customer Service Desks in both North and South Registration areas where you can receive assistance.

What Should You Bring to a Trade Show?

In addition to these trade show prep tips, it’s vital that you pack the right supplies to take with you. To help you be as prepared as possible for your time on the trade show floor, here are a few suggested to-do items:

Download the WOC Mobile App in early December in your app store by searching WOC 2025.

Features Include:

  • Exhibitor Information
  • Interactive Show Floor Map
  • Education and Speaker Information
  • Publication Bins
  • Digital Show Planner
  • Up-To-Date Show Notifications

Plan for onsite at WOC:

  • Wear a pair of comfortable shoes; WOC is a really big event!
  • Don’t forget your badge confirmation so you can have your badge oriented to enter the show. Also make sure you wear your badge each day to the show, as a lost badge is $130 to replace.
  • A bag for carrying brochures, magazines, promotional materials, and personal items
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Notebook and pen
  • Phone charger

Tips for During the Show

Now that you have gotten your badge printed, your hotel room secured and your schedule in hand, you are ready to go! It is time to enjoy the show and get the most out of your time there. To do so, keep these in mind:

Arrive Early

Beat the crowds and long waits by getting onto the show floor early. This will help you maximize your time, so you don’t have to rush. If you arrive in Las Vegas on Sunday/Monday for excursions or education sessions, it is recommended to pick up your badge before opening day on Tuesday.

Plan For More Time Than You Think
Even if you think you’ll have the entire day to check out everything, make sure you build in some buffer time, so you don’t have to rush or skip out on anything you want to see. WOC is over 750,000 net square feet with 1,300+ exhibitors!

When you arrive at the show, take a walk around the Las Vegas Convention Center to get an in-person lay of the land. If you utilize the online floor plan/mobile app during your show prep, you will have a basic understanding of what is on the show floor. However, seeing a map and being at the venue are two different experiences. Taking a pass through the halls and outdoor lots of the show will give you a much better understanding of everything it has to offer. Having a plan will ensure you are productive.

Tips for After the Show

You’ve been there, done that, and now you are back home. It is time to process and solidify all the knowledge you’ve gathered while at the trade show.

Follow-up With All Your New Connections

There is no doubt you made some wonderful connections while you were at WOC, so why not send them a note? Follow up with any new or existing contacts/suppliers you met, business partners or show sponsors you connected with to strengthen that relationship. It’s a nice touch that’ll make a big impact on everyone you met.

Collect All Your Notes

Grab all the notes you took at the show and start organizing them. Make sure you also gather all the new contacts, business cards and any marketing materials you picked up. These will be excellent reference materials for later.
