Formwork

Recycled ICF Deck Forms
The Lite-Deck II line uses 100% recycled expanded polystyrene (EPS) in various ICF components, including the Top Hats used to achieve varying depths for concrete deck formwork. The company's new molding equipment and processes allow it to intercept and use virtually all of the EPS scrap from construction sites as well as packaging scrap. Lite-Deck ICFs also can be used for forming roofs and tilt-up panels. Lite-Form Technologies. 800-551-3313.

Pier Form
Eco-Pier plastic concrete forms can be adjusted to 56 different sizes to form up the isolated footings (pier pads) for houses built with wood floors. They can accommodate all commonly specified pier pad dimensions. The product is waterproof, which eliminates failures associated with water soluble cardboard forms. Because it is reusable, this green product can contribute to earning LEED points and at the same time save contractors money. Frontier Construction Supply. 360-459-7437.

Tall ICF Wall Support
Arxx Tall Wall (ATW) System allows building tall walls with Arxx insulating concrete forms (ICFs) to 125 ft in height without requiring scaffolding engineering and while meeting OSHA wall attachment and safety requirements. The ATW system is made from heavy-gauge solid steel and provides the installer stability, and, with attachment to the wall, complete control over the ICF wall during the building and pouring phases for straight and plumb tall-wall construction. The system delivers a safe, efficient, and highly cost-effective solution for building larger commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings with ICFs. Arxx Building Products. 800-293-3210.

Paving Form System
The EZ Paving Form system allows highway contractors to set, pour, and strip forms much faster than traditional wood or steel forms. Constructed of tempered, high-grade aluminum, they require no cutting or nailing. Holes for rebar dowels are provided on 15-in. centers or to your specs. Because they are much lighter, these forms can be easily set by hand without the need for heavy lifting equipment. They are easily set to height with the company's grade knobs, and the detachable, adjustable kickers easily adjust to a stringline and hold the form securely. Concrete Forms Services. 801-280-6992.

Suspended Slab Formwork System
This modular formwork system works with minimal nailing to form bridge decks, box culverts, parking ramps, elevated slabs, and more. The company's adjustable height joist hangers support sections of 2x joists from beams, girders, walls, or pillars, using its edge forms for haunches. Borg plywood support plates (PSPs) and side hangers form shored grid systems with rectangles up to 48 in. square, with engineered plywood deflection. Panelized Wall Formwork System
Maximo panels incorporate a unique levering corner that ensures exact positioning of the panels with a standard pry bar. The system uses the MX tapered tie system that spaces the panels for proper wall thickness without spacer tubes or blocks. Also, because the wing nuts on the opposite side of the wall stay connected to the formwork panels, all the work is performed on one side of the wall. The system includes integral tie-off points for fall protection, a powder-coated finish, and a uniform tie and joint pattern. The Maximo system is fully compatible with the company's Trio system. Table Form Lifting System
The Table Lifting System (TLS) is an electric powered lifting platform that allows pre-assembled table formwork to be cycled between floors on a building structure without a crane. It is adaptable to any building structure and can dramatically increase concrete slab production. Attached to the building at all times, it is an extremely safe system and is designed for use in high winds up to 45 mph. Doka USA Ltd. 877-365-2872.

Thermoplastic Sandwich-Panel Composite
MultiQ Thermoplastic Sandwich-Panel Composite is designed to replace plywood in concrete shoring and formwork systems or applications prone to water and humidity. Made from durable polypropylene resin matrix and long glass fiber reinforcement, it can be sawed, screwed, and nailed like plywood but with significantly less dust, and it will not splinter or swell when exposed to the environment. It is lightweight and repairable and has a nonporous smooth surface for quick release using less form release agent. Quadrant Plastic Composites, Inc. 248-374-1862.

Column Form
Column Cast is a reusable sleeve and foam insert system that produces detailed columns easily and inexpensively with little or no waste. Steel buckles adjust and hold the form snugly, and, if damaged, can be easily removed and replaced. The cut foam inserts can either be cut inexpensively for one-time use or coated so that they can be removed intact and reused for multiple pours. A wide variety of shapes and details are available.
