OSHA 10-Hour Concrete/Masonry Construction Safety Program
Monday - Tuesday, January 23 - 24, 2012
7:30 am – 1:30 pm
OSHA Trainer: Dave Smith, CSP
This 10-hour safety course satisfies the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA's) 10-hour construction safety training program requirements. The program provides concrete/masonry workers, supervisors and other field personnel with an awareness of safety and health concerns in the construction industry and places a special emphasis on the OSHA regulations that address concrete/masonry issues. This information is essential for those who need to know current OSHA regulations and requirements for safety and health standards or need to verify these standards are followed.
This is the only OSHA 10-hour construction program specifically designed to help concrete/masonry workers and supervisors identify and avoid hazards they are likely to encounter every day on the job. The class is highly engaging and includes video segments of job site scenarios that show typical hazards and their remedies.
This course will be presented in 12 discrete modules using a combination of text book material, visual media, lecture and demonstration. A written exam will be administered at the conclusion of the program.
Upon completion, participants receive an OSHA 10-hour safety training completion card.
Registration includes OSHA Safety Manual, continental breakfast, light lunch and safety training completion card. Seminar and Materials are presented in English.
Fee: $325 on or before 12/08/11; $375 after 12/08/11 and onsite
Space is limited to 40 participants, so register early!
