Education Program

Continuing Education Approvals

Continuing education hours will be provided for all 2013 World of Concrete Education Program seminars. Approvals are reflected in each seminar description under “Session & Event Search.” Online Certificates of Completion reflecting continuing education hours are available approximately 6 - 7 weeks after the show.

The 2013 World of Concrete Show Management is pleased to announce that Hanley Wood Exhibitions has been approved as a continuing education provider for the following:

     
   

The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems (AIA/CES) is the voice of the architecture profession dedicated to serving its members, advancing their value and improving the quality of the construction environment. All WOC Education Program seminars (3-hr, 4-hr, 90-min) are submitted to AIA/CES for learning units (LU’s). Hanley Wood Educational Provider No. K029. 

Architects will need to sign in with their AIA number at each seminar attended in order to receive their LU’s.

     
   

 

 

The State of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB) has approved Hanley Wood Exhibitions as Educational Provider No.: DBPR/CILB 0003200. Select technical, safety and business courses have been submitted for approval for certified and registered general contractors, building contractors and residential contractors licensed by the state of Florida. 

State of Florida licensed contractors will need to sign in with their license number at each approved seminar to receive credit.

     

 

Professional Development Hours (PDHs) is a nationally recognized unit of record in non-credit professional development programs. Participants will receive a self-reporting form at each meeting room for tracking the seminars they complete and the amount of credit earned. 

Engineers are responsible for submitting the participant form with certificate of completion and other appropriate course documents to their respective state agencies for PDH approvals.

     
 

 

Mason Contractors Association of America has developed a National Masonry Certification program to promote and provide a tool for measuring masonry industry professionalism and quality. Hanley Wood Exhibitions has been approved as an educational provider. Select technical, safety and business courses have been approved for MCAA credits. 

Masonry attendees will need to sign in with their MCAA ID number at each approved seminar to receive credit.
