Building the World of Concrete Brand in Mexico City

Jun 07, 2013

Dallas, TX, June 7, 2013 -- Jackie James, Director of World of Concrete, will travel to Mexico City and Puebla in late June to participate in a trade mission hosted by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). The primary goal of the mission is to increase attendees and exhibitors from Mexico at World of Concrete and promote the use of concrete and masonry in the commercial construction industries.

The LVCVA has conducted about 14 of these missions, specifically for trade show producers focused on increasing their international business, working with the U.S. Department of Commerce in countries such as China, Brazil, Panama, Colombia and more.

“The International attendee has been a focus for World of Concrete for more than 10 years. Because World of Concrete attracts the latest products and technologies from around the globe, building our international attendee and exhibitor base has been a priority for us. Our show has been selected for the 9th consecutive year to be part of the International Buyer Program by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and this trip is a great opportunity to continue to build brand awareness for World of Concrete,” stated James.

WOC is the construction industry’s largest annual international event for concrete and masonry professionals featuring more than 600,000 square feet of the newest products, ideas, and technologies from 1,300+ exhibiting companies.

Information, safety training courses and certifications — World of Concrete offers the competitive, smart construction professional a world-class Education Program that adds more value to their show experience. Offering 100+ expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and hands-on training opportunities, WOC provides the most comprehensive education program in the industry.

The delegation will meet with representatives from the Mexican Commercial Services, as well as officials from government agencies, trade associations and media related to the commercial construction industry.
