In this session, attendees will learn how ICF (Insulating Concrete Forms) construction is similar and also uniquely different from conventional building techniques. Topics will include design fundamentals and building code requirements. Comparisons of foundations with varying insulation techniques will be discussed. Waterproofing, drainage as well as backfilling will also be covered. 

1. Explore ICF (Insulating Concrete Forms) design fundamentals of walls, footings and elevated slabs in addition to building code requirements
2. Compare foundations with varying insulation techniques
3. Examine waterproofing and drainage techniques
4. Identify backfilling differences and procedures
