The concrete polishing industry is composed of many variables. To ensure a consistent and successful outcome, the variables must be understood and overcome. The Concrete Polishing Association has defined industry standards, developed ethical guidelines, created non-biased specifications, and worked with many leading contractors and manufacturers to develop practical procedures that produce quality, processed concrete floors.
The CPAA Educational Program has been designed to create a consistent foundation of education that surrounds and defines the entire polishing process. The CPAA Tradesman Certificate of Introduction covers the fundamentals of the polishing process. It addresses concrete mix designs, placement and finishing techniques; diamond tooling design and function; equipment design and function; in addition to basic job site logistics, layout and management. A written examination will be given at the conclusion of the class. Those who pass the exam will receive a Tradesman Certificate of Introduction.
The CPAA Educational Programs offer student/instructor interaction, hands-on training and real answers to the questions you’re looking for in order to establish a successful polishing business.
