TUFPE - ACI Specialty Commercial/Industrial Concrete Flatwork Hands-On Performance Examination

Tuesday, January 21 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM | GOLD LOT, Certification/Training Area « Back

A limited number of hands-on performance examinations will be available on-site at WOC Tuesday, January 21, 7:00 am – 1:00 pm. Attendees will place, strike-off, and finish a high-tolerance, superflat slab reinforced with high-volume, macrosynthetic fibers. Upon successful completion of the written exam, performance exam and verification of submitted work experience, certification as an ACI Specialty Commercial/Industrial Concrete Flatwork Finisher will be issued. Participants will also be eligible to receive the High Tolerance Specialist certification in addition to the Commercial/Industrial Finisher credential. Since the performance exam will be conducted using fresh concrete, registered participants must be present for the entire performance examination. Though not required for certification, the slab will be measured for flatness/levelness and conformance to superflat tolerance criteria (FF, FL, and Fmin) achieved following completion of the exam.

NOTE: 4-hour review course MO402 offered Monday, Jan 20, 1:00 – 5:00 pm will cover commercial slab construction and techniques for high tolerance floors and includes the ACI CP11(08) workbook. The closed-book, two-hour written exam TUCIF consisting of 75 multiple-choice questions based on the ACI CP11(08) workbook is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan 21, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm.
